MILEY CYRUS TO AUCTION GRAMMY DRESS FOR HAITI RELIEF

will be auctioning off on Ebay for Haiti Relief.

Who would Miley Cyrus like to collaborate with?

"Lady Gaga. I love her as a person because she doesn't do what everybody else is doing and that's very important."

Miley said she's going to be part of the We Are the World re-make. "I think everybody who is collaborating on that is really talented."

She added, "I think it's really important that everybody come together because disaster relief isn't just now. It's how we're going to help years from now. We have to restore an entire place. It just can't be one person, one foundation, one group of people. All people have to come together and that's what We Are the World is all about. "

Even her Herve Leger dress is going to Haiti relief, she said. "I'm going to auction it off on eBay afterward for the Red Cross. It's the little things you can do."

Her date for tonight wasn't boyfriend Liam Hemsworth (and for the record, she told Ryan Seacrest she is not engaged).  "I promised my mom a date night. I'm only here for a little while."

MILEY CYRUS HELPS OUT HAITI WITH SONG AND VIDEO

Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey and Jon Bon Jovi have joined the list of stars pitching in on "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell's charity single for Haiti relief. According to England's The Sun, the singers will appear on the cover of R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts," which will also feature famous Brits Susan Boyle, Leona Lewis and Rod Stewart.

"It's amazing these great singers are clearing their schedules to make this happen," Cowell told the paper, which is helping to organize the single. "I just found out Mariah has changed her schedule to be able to do this too."

"It says such a lot that everyone is working so hard to help Haiti," Cowell told the Sun. "This is something that really matters to us all, and I'm so grateful for the support we are getting."

An unidentified source close to Cowell told the paper that Carey was very eager to pitch in on the all-star project. "Mariah was brilliant, she wanted to help in any way she could," the source said. "Her name gives the single another great boost."

The recording of the song kicked off in London over the weekend with "X Factor" judge Cheryl Cole and British act JLS, whose Oritse Williams lost relatives in the 7.0 earthquake that has so far claimed the lives of at least 150,000. Also expected to record their bits soon are Take That, Michael Bublé, Westlife, Alexandra Burke, James Morrison, Mika and James Blunt. All proceeds will be split between the Sun's Helping Haiti fund and the official Disasters Emergency Committee appeal. It has not yet been announced when the single will be released.

Friday night's all-star "Hope for Haiti Now" event has set a record for funds raised by public giving by a telethon with $58 million and counting. The iTunes album of the music from the show has already hit #1, notching the biggest one-day album pre-order in iTunes history.

MILEY CYRUS MOVIE MESSAGES L.O.L. TO DEMI MOORE

MILEY CYRUS TO REMAKE L.O.L. WITH DEMI MOORE

Having said goodbye to "Hannah Montana," Miley Cyrus is beefing up her film career.  The country superstar already has "The Last Song" in the can for Disney and now she's considering a new independently produced dramedy "L.O.L: Laughing Out Loud."  Oh, and none other than Demi Moore may join her.

An English-language remake of the French smash with the same title, "L.O.L." will find Miley as a 15-year-old whose boyfriend dumps her because of her lack of sexual experience.  She then sets her sight on his best friend as revenge.  At the same time her mother (Moore) is a 40-year-old divorcee struggling to move on with her life. As the title suggests, it also focuses significantly on teens' obsession with texting.

Variety reports the picture will be written and directed by Lisa Azuelos-Asseandrin who was also behind the original version which starred Sophie Marceau and Christa Theret and made more than $20 million in France.

No word on when production might begin or which studios are interested in picking up domestic rights.

Miley Cyrus, Joaquin Phoenix and Liv Tyler are joining their combined superstar forces to work with the suicide-prevention group To Write Love On Her Arms. In a new PSA, Miley teaches Phoenix and Liv how to help the organization secure the organization $1 million to help spread the message.

A very bubbly Miley and a pop culturally unaware Joaquin (Can you believe he's never heard of Miley Cyrus? Us too!) log online to place their votes on the organization's website to help raise the dough. As if seeing the teen queen teach Phoenix how to use the Internet wasn't entertaining enough, she also once again pledges her love for all things Gaga by doing her take on Gaga's "Bad Romance."

Before long, Liv makes her appearance in the PSA and after Joaquin flubs the lesson (Hasn't he ever used the World Wide Web before?) on how to vote, Miley very eagerly steps in and shows Liv how to help. Want to help out yourself? Cast your own vote by midnight tonight for the charity by going to the To Write Love On Her Arms' official site. The money raised will help launch tools for prevention and develop an online community for those dealing with suicidal thoughts or coping with a suicide victim.

MILEY CYRUS AND LIAM HEMSWORTH BEHIND THE SCENES OF "THE LAST SONG"

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth share a sweet moment in this new behind-the-scenes video from their upcoming flick, "The Last Song."

Based on Nicholas Sparks‘ book of the same name, the family drama is set in a small Southern beach town where an estranged father (Greg Kinnear) gets a chance to spend the summer with his reluctant teenaged daughter (Cyrus), who’d rather be home in New York.

He tries to reconnect with her through the only thing they have in common — music — in a story of family, friendship, secrets and salvation, along with first loves and second chances. Liam plays Miley’s love interest, Will.

The Last Song hits theaters on April 2, 2010.

MILEY CYRUS: "MY JOB ISN'T TO BE A PARENT"

source:  eonline.com

MILEY CYRUS COVER HARPERS BAZAAR FEBRUARY 2010

We're all pretty guilty of analyzing just about everything in Miley Cyrus' life—her tattoo, her quasi-pole dance, her Twitter, her feelings toward Twilight—which has gotta be pretty weird for any teenager. Now, Miley tries to come to terms with what that means for her in February's Harper's Bazaar.

"My job is to be a role model, and that's what I want to do, but my job isn't to be a parent," she tells the fashion mag. "My job isn't to tell your kids how to act or how not to act, because I'm still figuring that out for myself. So to take that away from me is a bit selfish. Your kids are going to make mistakes whether I do or not. That's just life."

Ok, maybe that's a little contradictory, but we see where she's going...

It's the old Glambert "I'm not a babysitter" line of thinking. It's hard to reconcile what it means to be the star of a children's show while also trying to grow up and become a young adult in the public's eye.

Plus, she's been living in L.A. and that'll mess with anyone's head, especially young heads. Miley says she gets cry-happy when she leaves La-La Land. She shot her upcoming movie The Last Song in Georgia and explains just how exciting that was.

"I got on the plane [to Georgia], and I was lying in my mom's lap and crying and saying, I'm so happy to be getting out of L.A.," Miley says.

During the shoot, "I went out every night with my friends. I did karaoke. I danced. All this stuff would've been such a big deal in Los Angeles: Who's she with? Why is she dancing? I felt alive and real. It's so much easier to know who you are when there aren't a thousand people telling you who they think you are. I felt like I was really figuring myself out. Usually I have someone whispering in my ear, but I was on my own."

As for the future of the Miley Cyrus brand, she's shooting the fourth and final season of Hannah Montana this year, The Last Song is out in April and she's working on another pop album. "Then I want to come out with an album that's really who I am," she says, but adds, "I don't know exactly who that is yet."

MILEY CYRUS AND LIAM HEMSWORTH HOOK UP IN AUSTRALIA

IT IS famous for little penguins and motorbikes - not US superstars.

But for the past week, tourist mecca Phillip Island has been quietly accommodating teen queen Miley Cyrus.

The 17-year-old, recognised the world over as the star of the Hannah Montana TV and film franchise, has been staying on the tiny holiday destination off the coast of Melbourne since her low-key arrival in Australia last Wednesday. Far from the flashes of the Hollywood paparazzi that document her every step, the singer has enjoyed a mundane getaway with her boyfriend, Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth.

While former Neighbours star Hemsworth, 19, has been there since before Christmas - staying with his family, who live on the island - Miley joined him to see in 2010. The pair blended seamlessly into the holiday crowd and were seen together at the annual Pyramid Rock festival on New Year's Eve.

"She was wearing a Billabong top, a bikini top underneath and denim shorts and honestly looked like every other teenage girl that was there," one onlooker said.

Since then Hemsworth has been showing Cyrus around his home town, taking strolls on the beach, having coffee and visiting a winery with his parents, Craig and Leonie.

Yesterday they admired the view from a lookout near Cowes, on the north end of the island.

The two met on the set of upcoming romantic drama The Last Song, which is due out in April.

Cyrus journeyed to Melbourne from London after the end of her world tour, for which Hemsworth joined her in Paris.

The teenager, who sparked controversy in the French capital when she was photographed smoking, WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE ANOTHER PHOTOSHOP JOB! (don't you people have something more productive to do?) is expected to return to the US today for the People's Choice Awards.
